Pooja Batra wants to be a writer

Actor Pooja Batra, who has been away from the silver screen for a while now, hopes to turn writer someday, and the food enthusiast says she may pen a cookery book in future.

Actor Pooja Batra, who has been away from the silver screen for a while now, hopes to turn writer someday, and the food enthusiast says she may pen a cookery book in future.

At a book launch, Pooja was asked if she has plans to write something, and she said, “Absolutely, I hope so. But I don’t know if it will be fiction or romantic, it might be a cookery book. I like making different recipes of my own, I love making food.”

Pooja, who was a model, also had a brief Bollywood career and acted in films like Virasat, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Naayak, among others. She married Sonu Ahluwalia, a doctor, in 2002 and moved to the US. But she filed for divorce in 2011, and moved back to India. She is working on two films now.
