Prateik Babbar is made for super stardom, he is a brilliant actor, says brother Aarya Babbar

Actor Aarya Babbar feels his younger brother Prateik Babbar has a lot in him as an artist that is yet to be tapped. He also wishes to direct him someday.

Aarya Babbar is one proud brother, who feels that his younger sibling (half-brother), actor Prateik Babbar is meant to enjoy stardom.

Aarya Babbar says his brother actor Prateik Babbar is a brilliant actor.

“Prateik is a brilliant actor. He puts honest effort towards his art, and that is the reason why he gets appreciated. He is made for super stardom. And he is not just walking towards achieving that stardom, but with the kind of work he is doing he is running towards it,” says Aarya, who was recently in the news for directing his debut short film. He will also be working in a Punjabi film with his father, actor-politician Raj Babbar.

There have been times when Prateik (son of the late actor Smita Patil) opened up about his troubled relationship with his father, half-siblings, Aarya and Juhi, and step-mother Nadira Babbar. When he dropped his surname and addressed Abhishek Bachchan as his big brother, it irked everyone, and Aarya even went on record saying that he was doing it for publicity. However, later Prateik reconciled with them.

Meanwhile, talking about working with Prateik and directing him in one of his movies sometime in the future, Aarya says, “It will be my pleasure... He has a lot in him that is yet to be tapped.”
