Preity Zinta, who turned 43 on Wednesday, celebrated her birthday in three different cities across the globe - Mumbai, Dubai and Los Angeles -- and has called it her longest birthday so far.

Preity Zinta, who turned 43 on Wednesday, celebrated her birthday in three different cities across the globe, Mumbai, Dubai and Los Angeles, and wrapped up the celebrations with a cute picture with her husband, Gene Goodenough.

Sharing a picture on her Instagram account, Preity called this her “longest birthday” and wrote, “So it’s a Super Blue Blood Moon Tonight & it’s my longest birthday so far. Celebrated it in Mumbai, Dubai & now with my Pati Parmeshwar in LA! I’m loving it #longestbirthday #love #happiness #travel.” Preity and Gene tied the knot in a secret ceremony in May 2016 in Los Angeles.

Earlier, close friends Salman Khan, Bobby Deol and Sonakshi Sinha paid a surprise visit to Preity to mark her 43rd birthday in Mumbai. The actor also cut a cake in the presence of her friends and shared pictures from the celebrations.

Though Preity hasn’t completely quit films, she is rarely seen in movies these days and mostly concentrates on her cricket team, Kings XI Punjab. She also owns a production company, PZNZ Media. She was last seen onscreen in a cameo in Saif Ali Khan’s Happy Ending (2014).

Preity began her acting career with Mani Ratnam’s Dil Se (1998) opposite Shah Rukh Khan has been widely appreciated for her work in Kya Kehna, Sangharsh, Veer Zara and Dil Chahta Hai.
