Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas getting married? Mom Madhu has the perfect reply

Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, had the perfect reply when asked if her daughter will soon be getting married to rumoured boyfriend Nick Jonas.

While rumoured couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrate the Bollywood star’s 36th birthday in New York, her mother is fielding questions about her wedding. Madhu Chopra in a quick interview had a reply at the ready when asked if Priyanka and Nick were planning on tying the knot any time soon.

When she was asked at an event if the family is serious about Nick, she retorted, “Are you serious? If you are, then we’ll also get serious about it.”

Priyanka’s mother had previously met Nick on his week-long vacation in India, where he was Priyanka’s guest at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta pre-wedding ceremonies. The couple also travelled to Goa for a quick getaway, with Priyanka’s brother Siddharth and cousin Parineeti.

Speaking to DNA, she said, “We just went out for dinner where Nick was present. But it was a large group. There were 10-odd people, so I didn’t get the time to know him that well. I’ve met him for the first time, so it’s too early to form an opinion.”

Prior to that, a Filmfare report had confidently claimed that the two would be getting engaged within a month. Incidentally, they’ve recently been spotted wearing matching golden rings.
