For the last few months, she has been working under the guidance of her boxing coach, Ravi Saharn, so she can get Kom’s body language right. And from the looks of it, the actor must be doing something right, because Saharn, who has been training her since last year, says he’s highly "impressed with her dedication".

"Training to be a boxer is not a cakewalk, but I must say that Priyanka has impressed me with her professionalism and dedication. There have been times when she has been hurt while sparring or working out — she also injured her knee while skipping once — but she did not let these issues interfere with her training, which, indeed, is admirable," he says.

Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the biopic on Kom is being directed by Omung Kumar.
