It’s being touted as the biggest Bollywood clash of 2013.

If recent reports are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam and Salman Khan’s Mental are both expected to release in October this year. While the release date of Besharam, October 2, was announced on the film’s poster earlier this year, Mental’s director Sohail Khan has neither confirmed nor denied the rumours claiming that his film is also releasing around the same time.

As for the Kapoor scion, he continues to steer clear of any insinuation.

“I don’t know much about it (the clash) because ultimately, it’s the producer’s prerogative to take a call on release dates. Ideally, there should be no clash, as there is enough space to accommodate all films. Right now, I am only focusing on the shooting of Besharam,” says Ranbir, who is currently working on the Abhinav Kashyap film in Chandigarh.

Rumours also suggested that it is Salman Khan who wants to stick to the October 2 release date. Incidentally, the actor had a major fallout with Abhinav after Dabangg (2010).
