Choreographer-filmmaker Remo D’souza who has judged multiple dance reality shows on television, believes that such shows encourage people’s talent and they are also inspired to learn the art.

“Those who have left it [dancing] want to take it up again after seeing people perform on television. I get so many calls and messages from people who tell me that because of my films and my television shows, they want to take up dancing once again,” says Remo, who has directed the musical franchise of Any Body Can Dance.
With so many similar formats on the small screen, does he not fear that viewers will ever get bored of such shows? “It all depends on the quality,” says Remo, who is the judge for Dance Plus 3. “If you provide good content, then the consumption and demand from the audience will always be more and people will not get bored with it.”
One would think that after seeing so many dance performances in reality shows, Remo has seen it all. However, he says that there is always something new every season. “The most important thing which surprises me that every time I feel I have seen it all, someone comes up and shows me something new,” he says.
