It seems like Ranbir Kapoor is ‘running late’ at the box office for a while now. For starters, his next, Vikramjit Singh’s Roy was supposed to hit theatres last year itself, but now it will release in February 2015.

Similarly, Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet got pushed to May (from late 2014). And now, trade insiders are saying that another one of Ranbir’s films — Jagga Jasoos, his maiden production venture — with Anurag Basu, has apparently been pushed again from August to October this year. "The film has been in the making since 2013 but owing to various reasons — Ranbir’s multiple projects being the main cause — the shoot hasn’t been completed. He is constantly trying to juggle all his films, which is leaving him with no time to focus solely on one project," says a trade insider.

The Kapoor scion also has Imtiaz Ali’s next, which is scheduled to release towards the end of 2015.

Interestingly, Ranbir didn’t have a single release in 2014.

Despite repeated attempts, neither Ranbir nor Basu could be reached for a comment.
