Slain human rights lawyer Shahid Azmi’s brother Khalid says he was moved to see the journey of his older sibling in the biopic made by Hansal Mehta.

Shahid’s life had all the twists and turns — from his arrest during the 1992 riots to his enrolment for a law degree when he finished serving a jail term. “We are happy with the way the film has come out. Almost 95 per cent of it is accurate,” says Khalid, adding, “People should be aware of the work he did. His spirit to help the poor and the needy who get falsely implicated on the wrong side of the law (must be known).”
