Shahid Kapoor asks ‘haven’t you had a girlfriend?’ after a man questioned Kiara Advani about kissing scenes in Kabir Singh

In a rare incident, Shahid Kapoor reacted angrily to a reporter recently at an event for Kabir Singh. The reporter was repeatedly asking Kiara Advani about the kissing scenes in the film.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who usually comes across as a calm person, recently lost his cool during an interaction with the media while promoting his upcoming film Kabir Singh that also stars Kiara Advani. When a reporter repeatedly asked Kiara about kissing scenes in the film, Shahid got angry and said he must pay to watch the kisses. The film’s trailer showed one liplock scene between the lead pair.

A DNA report claimed Kiara said she hasn’t kept a count when asked how many kisses are there in the film. Shahid chipped in to say, “Usi ka paisa hai (that’s what the money is for).”

When the reporter again asked the question, Shahid lost his cool. “Teri koi girlfriend nahi thi kya kaafi time se? Maine kaha dekhna hai toh paisa dena padega. Yeh nahi bola paisa ussi ka hai! Woh hi tune samjha and aisa tere dimaag mein atka! Arrey pappi chhod kar koi sawaal puchho, acting bhi ki hai logon ne iss picture mein. (Haven’t you had a girlfriend in a long time? I said, if you want to see it (kissing scene), you will have to pay. I never said you will have to pay only for that. That’s what you assumed. Why do you have to only ask about kissing scenes? People have also acted in this film).”
