Cashing in on the masala action genre that’s ruling Bollywood right now, the title of Prabhudheva’s next is an apt one. The Shahid Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha starrer has so far been referred to as Namak, but its actual title is more mass-oriented — Rambo Rajkumar.

No relation to the Sylvester Stallone franchise, though.

“Since the film is high on masala, the makers wanted a catchy and over-the-top title. Rambo Rajkumar fits the bill perfectly,” confirms a source. Although not much is known about the storyline, the flavour of the film is believed to be close to Shahid’s role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey (2009).

Earlier, Prabhudheva had dismissed rumours of the title being finalised as Namak. “I don’t know how this name came about, but this is not it. The movie is for the masses, and we will come up with a suitable title,” he had said.

When asked for a clarification about the new name, he says, “I can’t say anything about the title. The producers have big plans to launch everything, including the film’s name.”
