Shekhar Suman's debut directorial, Heartless, may not have generated much buzz. But you have to give it to him for his faith in the film.

Claiming that it will make a social impact, he's written to none other than President Pranab Mukherjee to make the release tax-free.

"I have written a letter to the President of India... four days ago and am waiting for a reply...," says Shekhar, adding, "My film shows how a mother can to go any extent to protect her child... Films that have a social impact deserve to be tax-free so that more people can watch them."
