Sidharth Malhotra will play a boxer in director Karan Malhotra’s next, and it has been reported that the actor is gaining weight and following a strict diet to get into character. "Karan does not want people to have a glimpse of the character till the film’s team decides to do so. So, he has asked Sidharth to avoid going to film screenings, where photographers will be present and he could get clicked. He has also been told to stop making appearances at public events," says a source.

And even though no one knows when the first look will be unveiled, Sidharth has agreed to Karan’s requests, as he, too, believes that the surprise element will work to his and the film’s advantage.

The actor has been working on getting into character for the last two months now, and has undergone several look tests. He has also been having sessions with stylists as well.
