The reason Swara Bhaskar's cook quit is Salman Khan

Recently, Swara's cook, Ganesh Paswan, found out that she was shooting with Salman for Sooraj Barjatya’s next Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo. He requested her to arrange a meeting with Salman and quit his job because she could not!

Swara Bhaskar’s cook made a bizarrely dramatic exit earlier this month when the actor failed to keep her promise of introducing him to Salman Khan.

Recently, the cook, Ganesh Paswan, found out that Swara was shooting with Salman for director Sooraj Barjatya’s next Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo. Soon after, he requested her to arrange a meeting with Salman. "He is a big fan, and Swara had promised him that she would get them to meet. But because she didn’t have any time to organise this introduction, Ganesh left the job," says a source. Swara found out that he had quit the job only after she returned from the shoot that was taking place in Gondal, Gujarat.

The Raanjhanaa (2013) actor has had no free time since the end of last year. "She completed the initial shoot for Barjatya’s film in November. Then, she started working on Aanand L Rai’s sequel to Tanu Weds Manu. And in February, she directly headed to Gondal to resume the shoot of Sooraj’s film," adds the source.

On her return, Swara even overheard other members of her staff threatening to quit their jobs if they didn’t get to meet Salman. Afraid that they might actually do so, she finally introduced them — her makeup man Bhaskar Chaurasia and hairstylist Samita Das — to Salman.

When contacted, Swara said, "I was stunned… but it turned out that he (Ganesh) had taken the matter to heart and that’s why he left the job. When the rest of my staff heard this, they jokingly began to threaten the same. But I was so terrified of such threats that I just asked Salman sir to pose for some pictures with them. It was quite embarrassing. I had to explain the situation to him."
