Toilet Ek Prem Katha: Akshay Kumar says ‘Has mat pagli’ to Bhumi in new song

Thanks to the film’s trailer, we know that Akshay Kumar gets married to Bhumi Pednekar and then she leaves him because his household doesn’t have a toilet. This song seems like a prelude to it.

Trust Akshay Kumar for playing characters with rustic charm. After donning the role of a golden-hearted simpleton in many films, he is back doing the same in his next film Toilet Ek Prem Katha in which he is working with Bhumi Pednekar.

Toilet Ek Prem Katha will hit the screens on August 11, 2017.

The makers of the film have released a new song titled ‘Has mat pagli pyaar ho jayega’ and that proves our point once again.

Thanks to the film’s trailer, we know that Akshay Kumar gets married to Bhumi Pednekar and then she leaves him because his household doesn’t have a toilet. This song seems like a prelude to it.

Voiced by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal, the song shows Akshay stalking Bhumi to college, railway station and other places. He also clicks her pictures without letting her know. In short, he appears to be a more audacious version of Dhanush in Raanjhanaa.

Composed by Vickey Prasad, the song works only because of Sonu Nigam’s soulful voice as its lyrics are very average.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Topilet Ek Prem Katha will hit the screens on August 11, 2017.
