Varun Dhawan has come up with a special calendar where October follows March. Watch video
Actor Varun Dhawan has now shared a video which shows a calendar where October comes immediately after March, because April is the release date for the Shoojit Sircar film.
April was announced as the release date for Shoojit Sircar’s much awaited film October earlier. And now, just to re-emphasise the point, actor Varun Dhawan has shared a video which shows a calendar where October comes after March.
Just days after the film’s promotional campaign was shot, Varun is now setting up the stage for the film publicity as he tweeted the video. The short video is set to a breezy background score and the film stills appear as months continue changing on the calendar - January, February, March. Then, October appears instead of April, as we hear Varun Dhawan’s voice announcing, “ This year, October is coming in April”.
Varun also shared pictures from the outdoor shoot that was done in complete natural light, a first for the Badlapur actor.
Speaking about the film Shoojit had earlier told Hindustan Times, “A very unusual, unconventional kind of a story in the slice-of-life and romance space”.
Much like his previous films Yahaan (2005), Madras Café (2013) and Pink (2016) that took inspirations from newspaper articles or real-life instances, Shoojit’s October too has the ‘real’ connect. “Yes, it’s inspired by many real-life incidents but the basic idea came from a small newspaper clipping that I had read. If you see, all my films’ ideas are like that,” the filmmaker added.
