Bollywood actor Vidya Balan is a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin and says she would be ­absolutely thrilled to do a movie based on the ­legendary comic actor and filmmaker.

"I would love to do a Charlie Chaplin movie. I loved Sridevi as Charlie Chaplin in Mr India ... I’d love to attempt to play Chaplin in a film. He has been a huge ­inspiration in my life," says Vidya.

She was recently present at the ­inauguration of an ­exhibition held to ­honour the late actor.

Meanwhile, Vidya is in talks with ­director Manish Gupta for his upcoming film, where she has been approached to play the role of Indira Gandhi.
