Yami Gautam looks gorgeous no matter her hairstyle but her latest salon outing will definitely inspire you to try something similar.

If you want to get your hair cut super short but the fear of making a mess is pulling you back, this should give you some courage. Yami Gautam gave her fans a big surprise on Tuesday when she shared pictures of a drastically different look. The new look is for Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film, Uri.

Speaking about her new look, Yami said in a press statement, “I was extremely excited when the character needed this specific look for the film. When Aditya discussed it with me, I jumped at the opportunity of making my character more believable. So we did a few trials and then went ahead with it. I am loving my look, hope audiences love it too”

The actor, whose long, shiny hair was loved by many, got a sleek bob that looked absolutely perfect on her. She also shared a picture of her stunning final look and a video of the entire process. “Life is short, make each hair flip count !! #shorthair #newlook #actorslife,” she captioned the photo. In the video, she looks nervous as the hairstylist chops off the first few inches of her hair but her smile grows bigger as the final hairstyle starts taking shape.

Yami Gautam made her Bollywood debut opposite Ayushmann Khuranna in 2012’s Vicky Donor. She then worked in films like Kaabil, Badlapur and Sanam Re.

Her next release will be Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. She plays a lawyer in the film.
