Boney Kapoor's son Arjun Kapoor is getting a dream launch under Yash Raj banner. This comes as a surprise as Yash Chopra and Boney had a tiff two years back, reports Mumbai Mirror.
In 2008, Yash Chopra wanted to cast Boney's wife Sridevi opposite Amitabh Bachchan, but the latter didn't allow the actress to make a comeback in YRF movie. Boney told Yash Chopra that he was keen on re-launching his wife in his own production.
Says a source, “Arjun’s launch in a YRF film instead of a Boney Kapoor one, is a safer and better bet any day. Besides, any Bollywood parent would want the best platform for his child.”
When contacted, YRF official spokesperson informed Mumbai Mirror, "Yes, Arjun Kapoor has been signed up for a film with Yash Raj Films. We will make an announcement of our forthcoming films in January, 2011."
