HT-Nielsen Top 10: Dan Brown, John Green continue to rule bestselling lists

Here’s your weekly digest of the best-selling fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.

Dan Brown’s new novel Origin is at the number one position on the list of bestselling fiction this week again. At the second spot is Amish Tripathi’s Sita: Warrior of Mithila, followed by Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist. Novoneel Chakraborty’s Forever is True is a new entrant to the list at number four while Sanil Sachar’s Rebound maintains its position from last week, at number five.

Dr Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind is at the top spot in the non-fiction category, followed by Napolean Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, Raghuram Rajan’s I Do What I Do and Yuval Noah Harari’s Sapiens: A Brief History of Mankind. Rajdeep Sardesai’s Democracy’s XI: The Great Indian Cricket Story is a new entrant at number nine.

Ruskin Bond’s Great Stories for Children comes first again on the list of best-selling children’s books in Indian publishing, followed by his book The Blue Umbrella. Rungeen Singh’s The Best of Panchatantra is at number three, Timeless Tales from Panchatantra at number four and Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s The Little Prince is at number five.
