HT-Nielsen top 10: Dan Brown’s Origin regains top position on the bestselling fiction list

Here’s your weekly digest of the best-selling fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.

This week, Dan Brown’s Origin regains its top position on the bestselling fiction list, moving Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist to the second spot. Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl continues to be third on the list, followed by Amish Tripathi’s two novels - Sita and Scion of Ikshvaku.

Joshua Pollock and Kamlesh D Patel’s The Heartfulness Way is a new entrant and the top selling book on the non-fiction list. Narasimhan’s Gurudev is at number two, while Dr Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind is next. On number four and five are Napolean Hill’s Think and Grow Rich and Malini Agarwal’s To the Moon, respectively.

365 Bedtime Stories retains its top position on the list of bestselling children’s books in Indian publishing. Ruskin Bond’s Great Stories for Children comes next, followed by 365 Panchatantra Stories and Ruskin Bond’s The Blue Umbrella. Chitra Soundar’s Farmer Falgu Goes on a Trip is a new entrant with the number five spot.
