Noted writer and social activist Mahasweta Devi continues to be on partial life support, her condition still being critical, said a doctor at Belle Vue Clinic, where she is being treated for age-related ailments, on Tuesday.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee visited the littérateur at the hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment.
