Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has fired back at reports that her 2011 cookbook, 'My Father's Daughter', was not all her own work.

The 39-year-old star took to her Twitter account to dismiss an article in last week's news daily, which suggested a ghost writer had helped her pen the tome.

"Love The New York Times dining section but this week's facts need checking. No ghostwriter on my cookbook, I wrote every word myself," she posted.
The piece linked writer Julia Turshen to the book, which features Paltrow family recipes and cooking tips.
