MUMBAI: With tighter norms surrounding P-Notes and Sebi’s clampdown on beneficiaries of such products, about 73% of overseas investors would prefer direct access to the Indian capital market against offshore derivative instruments, according to a PwC survey. Share of P-Note investments in inflows by foreign portfolio investors fell to 8.8% in June, from 55.7% in the same period of 2007.
