CHENNAI: Hinduja Group-owned Ashok Leyland on Monday launched an electric 30-seater mini bus for city commute. Ashok Leyland MD Vinod K Dasari said: “At FAME Delhi workshop, we had committed to vehicles with full electric power trains by January ’17. I am happy to dedicate the first vehicle in this new Circuit series, ahead of schedule.” The made in India vehicle can travel 120 kms on a single charge, a company official said.
