LONDON: Prominent industrialist Swraj Paul has launched the construction of a 145- room hotel in St Louis, Missouri, as part of his group’s latest project in the United States– the hotel is named after his son Angad who died in November 2015.

The project at the Missouri Theatre building, which was initiated by Angad Paul, will be jointly developed by Caparo’s north American subsidiary, Bull Moose Industries and Lawrence Group, a St Louis developer.
Paul told HT: “It was his creative vision and determination which has made this happen. The hotel will be a tribute to Angad and Caparo and the Paul family’ s commitment to St Louis”.
Besides the hotel, the project includes office and retail complex. Completion is expected by July 2017. Paul was presented the keys to the city of St Louis by mayor Francis Slay during his recent visit.
