Arora, a graduate of the Banaras Hindu University Institute of Technology at Varanasi, is the fourth ranking in the organisation after co-founder and CEO Larry Page, executive chairman Eric Schmidt and co-founder Sergey Brin. He also serves on the board of India’s Bharti Airtel Ltd.

The calculation by the Associated Press counts salary, bonuses, perks and stock and options awarded to each executive.

Page and his longtime partner Brin limited their salaries to $1 apiece last year, while four other top executives received combined compensation packages totaling more than $124 million.

The breakdown disclosed consists mostly of stock awards that could ultimately be worth more or less money, depending on how Google’s stock price fares in the future.
