Charles O Prince of the Citigroup, Stanley Warren of Cargill, Steve Reineman of Pepsi, Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries, Ratan Tata, Nandan Nikelani of Infosys and YC Deveshwar of ITC are among the corporate captains who are expected to hold the meeting at the White House under the auspices of Indo-US Business Council, giving an opportunity to the two leaders to drop in if they wish, it is learnt.

So far, such drop-ins by Bush have remained confined to meetings between senior ministers of the two countries.

With the US not only opposing the G-4 resolution on permanent membership for India, Japan, Germany and Brazil in the UN Security Council but even asking other nations to vote against it unless other issues about the UN are dealt with first, the achievements during the Prime Minsiter's visit are likely more on in defence and economic spheres, according to sources.

Bush has already said the US must provide clean coal technology and share the latest developments in wind power and biofuel.
