The board of directors have recommended 18 per cent dividend on equity shares of Rs 10 each, including on equity shares to be allotted to the shareholders of erstwhile India Steamship Company Ltd (India Steamship) pursuant to the scheme of arrangement and amalgamation among the companies, Chambal Fertilisers informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The board has also recommended five per cent dividend (including cumulative dividend for previous years) on cumulative redeemable preference shares of Rs 10 each to be allotted to the preference shareholders of India Steamship, it said.
