MUMBAI: With the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) looking to remove suspended companies from the capital market, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has already sent notices to 509 firms to either apply for revocation of suspension, or opt for delisting. In all, trading in shares of as many as 1,021 companies listed on the BSE has been under suspension for a period of seven years or more, as of June 1, 2016.
