The determination of gold prices in India results from various factors, including the inputs of reputable jewellers. These prices are influenced by a combination of elements such as global demand for gold, fluctuations in currency exchange rates, prevailing interest rates, and government policies related to the precious metal. Moreover, international factors like global economic growth and the relative strength of the US dollar against other currencies significantly shape gold prices within the country.
