Govt releases Rs 109.48 crore for salary

As per the recommendations by the Urban Local Bodies, the government on Friday released Rs 109.48 Crore for payment salaries for the months of April, May and June 2008, an official release said in Bangalore.

These workers had not been paid salary for the last three months, sources said.
