As the first step, the partnership will see setting up of the Infosys-Nvidia Technology campus at the Infosys campus in Bangalore, Subu Goparaju, Vice President and Head of Software Engineering and Technology Labs, told media.

Cuda technology, developed by Santa Clara-headquartered, Nividia is a revolutionary architecture in the field of high performance computing. Cuda technology is designed to allow application developers to tap the unexploited power potential of GPU in order to accelerate a certain application, consequently boosting performance level.

Through this partnership, Infosys will focus on accelerating its application development process, by simplifying complex computational projects for its global and Indian customers across indsutry verticals including healthcare and life sciences, e-governance, finance and medical sciences.

Infosys will also work on its clients to convert their applictions into the Nvidia Cuda platform. This will help customers to reduce number of conventional server hardware at data centres, saving costs and power consumption.
