Kerala to set up one more IT park

Kerala Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan says his government plans to open IT Parks in all the districts in the state.

Kerala Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan on Friday visited the proposed site of a 78-acre information technology (IT) park in Kozhikode.

Talking to media persons at the site, the chief minister said the IT department, which he heads, would soon take a final decision on the park.

He added that the government plans to open IT Parks in all the districts in the state.

According to official sources, at least 10 companies have evinced interest in setting up units in Kozhikode.
