Driven by healthy loan growth, Bank of India (BoI) on Wednesday posted a 15% year-on-year rise in net profit at Rs 494.0 crore for the quarter ended March against Rs 428.0 crore last year.

For the full-year 2010-11, the bank’s net profit rose 43% at Rs 2,489.0 crore against Rs 1,741 crore in the year-ago period.
Net interest income for the quarter rose 49% to Rs 2,307 crore.
