To create awareness about conservation of water resources, Oil India Limited (OIL) is observing Water Awareness Week.
To create awareness about conservation of water resources, Oil India Limited (OIL) is observing Water Awareness Week.
The event was inaugurated yesterday (March 22) at its field headquarters Duliajan, Moran and Manabhum with the globally observed World Water Day as per United Nations resolution.
OIL's endeavours towards conservation of natural and energy resources as well as protection of environment have been recognised. OIL's Water Awareness Week will create understanding of the consequences of water crisis and implication of water wastage.
Dr Dulal Ch Goswami, Former Professor and Head of Department, Environment Sciences, Gauhati University and B.C. Patowary, Scientist 'F' & Head, Flood Management Studies, National Institute of Hydrology, Guwahati were the Guests of Honour.
