IT major, Patni Computer Systems, today said that it has secured a five year contract with UK IT services provider, 2e2.
The contract will provide a range of support services for 2e2’s end-user clients and the delivery of in-house support services.
The estimated contract value is in the region of Pound 20 plus million with the potential to further scale rapidly in the first two-years, the company said in a statement issued here.
2e2 is one of the fastest-growing IT service providers in Europe and has operations across the UK and Isle of Man, the Netherlands, Spain, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
2e2 works with companies within the telecommunications, media, healthcare, retail, transport, public, financial services and professional services sectors.
Patni anticipates starting to provide initial services under this new contract before the end of the year. This deal is expected to be strategic in nature for both companies with complementary service offerings in the European market.
Neil Allpress, UK Managing Director at 2e2, said, "In common with all IT and infrastructure services companies, we have to look at the best ways to provide value to our clients. Working in partnership with Patni brings us flexibility and extra skills and services that we can leverage for our existing and new clients."
