Sensex rebounds at midsession led by realty, IT stocks

Recovering its early losses, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index Sensex gained 103 points at midsession on Friday on revival of buying in bluechip stocks especially of realty and IT segments.

Recovering its early losses, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index Sensex gained 103 points at midsession on Friday on revival of buying in bluechip stocks especially of realty and IT segments.

The Sensex moved up by 102.91 points to 15,115.23 at 1300 hrs with stocks of Infosys Technologies, DLF Ltd and Reliance Industries notching up fresh ground.

The 30-share index had lost 177.24 points in early trade.

The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty rose by 35.65 points to 4,489.10 at the same time. It had opened lower by 52.55 points.
