Sensex turns negative after rising 0.6%

The BSE Sensex turned negative this morning after having risen as much as 0.6 per cent in opening deals, with No 2 lender ICICI Bank leading the losses.

The BSE Sensex turned negative on Thursday morning after having risen as much as 0.6 per cent in opening deals, with No 2 lender ICICI Bank leading the losses.

At 9:58 am, the 30-share BSE index was down 0.1 per cent at 19,989.06 points, with 19 components declining.

The 50-share NSE index was also down 0.1 per cent at 6,007.20.
