10% admission cut-off waiver for children of Kashmiri migrants

The Haryana technical education department ordered a 10% waiver in the cut-off percentage for children of Kashmiri migrants, who are seeking admission to technical courses and who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements. The department also waived their domicile requirements.

The Haryana technical education department ordered a 10% waiver in the cut-off percentage for children of Kashmiri migrants, who are seeking admission to technical courses and who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements. The department also waived their domicile requirements.

A spokesman said they had made provisions for reservation of one supernumerary seat in each branch in all technical courses except BArch for kids of Kashmiri migrants.

He said the state technical education society working under the department had extended the date of inviting applications for admissions to BE, BTech, MBA and MCA courses from children of Kashmiri migrants to June 30. The date for admission to BE or BTech lateral entry courses for children of Kashmiri migrants has also been extended to July 31.
