As per information, a police party led by station house officer (SHO) Suresh Kumar on a tip off raided the vehicle when it was parked near a dhaba and huge quantity of bottles packed in boxes were recovered from the truck.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle managed to flee from the spot, adding it was suspected the truck was going to Rajasthan from Chandigarh. Meanwhile, a case under the Excise Act has been registered.
