4 IAS, 6 PCS officers given new, additional postings

The Punjab government on Tuesday gave new or additional postings to four IAS and six PCS officers.

The Punjab government on Tuesday gave new or additional postings to four IAS and six PCS officers.

Announcing this, an official spokesperson said chief secretary Sarvesh Kaushal, besides his present assignments, had been given the additional charge of principal secretary, governance reforms.

Sumer Singh Gurjar has been posted as secretary, Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

Rahul Tiwari, besides his present assignments, has been given additional charge of director, information and public relations.

Ashwani Kumar has been posted as state transport commissioner and additional special secretary, transport.

The spokesperson said the PCS officers who were transferred were Daljit Singh as special secretary, agriculture, and additional director, colonisation; Amarpal Singh as chief executive officer, Punjab Energy Development Authority, and additional secretary, NRI affairs.

Gurpreet Singh Khaira, besides his present assignments, has been given the additional charge of commissioner, municipal corporation, Jalandhar; and Amit Talwar as additional MD, Punsup.

Amaninder Kaur was posted as general manager, personnel and administration; and Harshinderpal Singh Brar as additional managing director, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, in addition to deputy director (admn), Punjab State Agriculture Marketing Board.
