8 file nominations in Kurukshetra district

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Subhash Sudha (Thanesar) and Jai Bhagwan (Pehowa) were among the eight candidates who filed their nominations for four assembly seats in Kurukshetra district on Thursday.

Ladwa and Shahbad are the other assembly segments in the district, besides Thanesar and Pehowa.

A big rally was organised by Sudha at the local Theme Park where several Congress leaders, including Thanesar municipal council chairperson Uma Sudha and Block Congress Committee president Jatinder Dhingra joined the BJP in the presence of Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini. Former state minister ML Ranga also addressed the rally.
