Ayushmann will not assist director in Jaffna

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana had decided to assist his hit film Vicky Donor's director Shoojit Sircar in the film, Jaffna, but says that he won't be able to do so now due to paucity of time.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana had decided to assist his hit film Vicky Donor's director Shoojit Sircar in the film, Jaffna, but says that he won't be able to do so now due to paucity of time.

"One day I was late for Vicky Donor, so Shoojit made me the fourth assistant director who has to clap every time the shoot starts. I told him that I was enjoying it and he told me to start assisting him. But later I got Ramesh Sippy's next film, so I will not have the time to assist Shoojit," says Khurrana.

About his future projects, the VJ-turned-actor says, "After this (Sippy's film), I will start Humara Bajaj. I am reading a few scripts right now and I will sign one of them soon."
