Beas tragedy: One more body recovered

Rescue teams recovered one more dead body, belonging to the group of 24 engineering students of Hyderabad-based college washed away in Beas river, on Wednesday. The victim has been identified as P Ridhima, daughter of P Srinivas, Hyderabad.

The total number of bodies recovered has now reached 18 but the bodies of two female and four male students and a co-tour operator are yet to be found.

“We have recovered one more dead body on the eighteenth day of the incident today. Dead body have been identified by the college officials who are camping here. We have informed the parents,” said DR Dhiman, sub divisional magistrate of Gohar who is overseeing the rescue and search operation at Pandoh.
