Sangar alleged that the way local unit of the BJP was working, it was helping the Congress. "Those who are old leaders are being shunted out which should be considered as an anti-party activity," he stated.

He said time had come for national leaders to intervene in the matter to strengthen the party.

When contacted, BJP spokesperson Ravindra Pathania termed the letter as anti-party activity.

"Sangar was removed from the post of party spokesperson as he was not working properly. The allegations are baseless and the complaint has been made to bargain for some post," he stated.
