BJP to launch membership drive in MC wards tomorrow

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise two-day membership camps in all wards of municipal corporations from December 5.
Punjab BJP president Kamal Sharma stated that from December 5-7, party workers from all blocks would organise camps in each ward falling under municipal corporations of the state.
Sharma added that on December 8, the party's human rights and legal cells would organise camps in all district courts across the state.
From December 9-11, the party's women cell (Mahila Morcha) would organise membership camps outside religious places, whereas the party's industrial wing would hold camps in focal points and industrial areas.
From December 12-14, party workers from all districts would hold camps in all municipal councils. The local bodies' cell would supervise these camps.
From December 15-17, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha would hold camps in each market of the state; on December 21, the arhtiya cell of the party would reach out to people working in various grain markets of the state.
On December 22, the party's transport cell would organise a membership drive at every bus stand and railway station. On December 23, the BJP's medical cell and NGO cell would conduct the drive in hospitals, laboratories and nursing homes.
The party's senior citizen cell and ex-servicemen cell would conduct this drive on December 24 in parks. From December 25 to 29, the party's minority wing would organise camps in various areas for the Muslim and Christian communities.
From December 25 to 30, the party's Kisan Morcha, the cooperative cell and the panchayati raj cell would initiate the drive.
On December 30, the party would reach out to professionals through the CA and intellectual cell; on December 31, the party's district and block-level teams would organise camps in busy markets and other places.
Sharma said the party's membership drive had already become a big success and the BJP was on its way to become the world's most populous party.
