BSF officer hurt in landmine blast in Poonch

A Border Security Force officer got injured in a landmine explosion along the Line of Control in the bordering. Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here on Sunday said.

A Border Security Force officer got injured in a landmine explosion along the Line of Control in the bordering

Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here on Sunday said.

"BSF sub-inspector Kalu Ram of 135 Battalion (B-Coy) last evening got seriously injured when he had gone to inquire about Saturday's landmine blast incident in which a jawan got seriously injured," sources this morning told UNI.

The officer inadvertently stepped over a landmine at the spot of inspection. "The SI lost his one foot in the explosion,"sources added.

He was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment.
