Canadian PM arrives in Bangalore
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper arrived here on Thursday on a two-day visit to the city. Karnataka labour and sericulture minister B N Bache Gowda received Harper and his wife Laureen Harper at Bengaluru International Airport and accorded them a warm welcome on behalf of the state government.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper arrived here on Thursday on a two-day visit to the city.
Karnataka labour and sericulture minister B N Bache Gowda received Harper and his wife Laureen Harper at Bengaluru International Airport and accorded them a warm welcome on behalf of the state government.
The couple proceeded to the Raj Bhavan to meet governor H R Bhardwaj. Harper is slated to watch the latest James Bond film Skyfall at Forum Mall's Imax in Koramangala.
Later today, he is scheduled to visit the famous Sree Someshwara temple in Ulsoor.
Harper will visit Bishop Cotton School here tomorrow before emplaning for Manila, in the Royal Canadian Airforce special aircraft, official sources said.
