CRPF jawan, Havildar injured in accidental fire

A CRPF jawan and a Havildar were injured in an accidental fire when the former was cleaning his gun in Chandigarh today, police said.

CRPF Jawan Shiv Pal was cleaning his pistol when the incident occurred. A Havildar, who was also sitting close by, was also injured in the accidental fire, SHO of Sector 39 police station Janak Rana said.

Both the injured have been hospitalised and their condition was stated to be out of danger, he said.
